VERO aims to progress veterinary science in the context of large food animal agriculture in expansive West Texas.

VERO seeks to maximize talent recruitment and retention as well as to promote the return of students to their home communities as an investment in veterinary medicine, biomedical science, and related disciplines, contributing to the overall health and economic growth of Texas communities. The architecture responds to this by celebrating the connection of the student to the landscape, to dynamic learning spaces, and to professional and academic researchers.
